GroupBC has been developing document and information management solutions for construction related projects since 1998. Our first client was Nationwide Building Society who used BC to manage their branch refurbishment programme.

We’ve been at the forefront of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the UK since the start, having developed one of the first UK BIM Level 1 projects with Westfield Stratford City back in 2006, and were invited to participate in the 2011 BIM Strategy Paper that lead to the UK BIM Mandate in 2016.

Our next generation Common Data Environment (CDE), BC Enterprise, makes it easy for diverse teams to collaborate, manage and share documents, models and data from a cloud based platform.

We’ve undergone several name changes over the years during various corporate ownerships, but throughout that time our core team has remained the same, and in 2014 we staged a Management Buyout (MBO).

Since then, as an independent company, we have invested heavily in recruitment, research and development, enabling us to simplify our product offering, whilst extending the functionality and flexibility.

We’re renowned for pushing the boundaries of technology, most recently working with our partners PCSG and Ordnance Survey to link project and asset data with external GeoSpatial datasets in order to provide valuable insights which enable better decision making.
