BNET was established to hasten the growth and economic diversification of the telecommunications sector in Bahrain as part of Bahrain’s 5th National Telecommunication Plan (NTP5). The aim of the launch is to implement fiber optic networks for 100% of all businesses and 95% of all households throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain. As the owner of the fiber-based national broadband network in Bahrain, BNET is obligated to grant all other licensees equal access to top notch fiber-networking services. This allows BNET to meet customers’ business demands by offering top-notch retail telecommunications services at competitive prices.
