IRIS Business Services has over fifteen years of proven expertise in the financial information management space and providing customized technology solutions for business and financial data and content management, including the dissemination of information to investors, central banks, stock exchanges, financial institutions and corporate, among others. IRIS owns and manages one of Indias largest business and financial data repositories, including corporate data, mutual funds data, market reference data, news and more. All these databases are integrated to be able to provide high value content solutions to customers. IRIS has been working since past five years in the XBRL domain and has built a suite of software products, as well as service offerings in the XBRL space. These include applications for taxonomy creation, XBRL document authoring, XBRL enabled workflow solution for filing, storage, processing, and analysis, extraction and creation of XBRL instance documents from ERP / core banking systems, integration of XBRL and non XBRL data (including internal and third party data sources) and rendering of content in multiple formats. In India, IRIS has been at the forefront of promoting XBRL as a standard. IRIS is also creating the Indian GAAP taxonomy for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Indias premier accounting body.
