Founded by Emma and Robert in 2004, Heart 2 Heart Puppies Is a Family Run Business, Based in Hawesville, KY. We are the Mast family and we live out in the country of the beautiful Bluegrass State of Kentucky. On our small farm we have a passion for God’s amazing creatures, dachshunds and our beautiful horses. Robert growing up with a little dachshund, of course we had to a few when we married in 2004. We are blessed with two sons and they love to play with all our dogs and help keep everyone happy and socialized. We selectively breed for health and temperament. We follow a strict vaccination and de-worming protocol, along with genetic testing from PawPrint Genetics. Another notable mention, after living with cardiomyapathy for since 2007, in 2018 Emma had a second chance in life being the recipient of a new heart from a generous organ donor.
